Chris Carroll is a senior communication designer and illustrator based in Brisbane, Australia.

Years of practice
—from print studios in Melbourne to contemporary brand, packaging and illustration work—these inform everything I do.
The beginning of my career was pre-digital: repro cameras, hand-cut colour separations and hand paste-up. When design moved to the desktop, I moved with it.
After a time directing an Australian accredited graphic design program in China, I've returned to Brisbane to focus on design practice and creative collaboration.
Communication Design is my qualification from Billy Blue College of Design.
I work with businesses and organisations that want design grounded in craft, strategy and clear thinking. My illustration work spans traditional media and Adobe Fresco. I also take on design education and facilitation projects.
